SIREN CALL & REFUTE TO MISS OUT ON BREEDER'S CUP*
A rumor has been going around the Eighth Pole that dirt sprinter threat, Siren Call, will be missing out on the Breeder's Cup F&M Sprint this year. After the near Sprinter Triple Tiara crown, Siren Call has been in what seems like an 'end of the year funk' in her races. Could it potentially be the competition is too high for the two year old sprinting champion? Chances are, the Sprinting division this season is 10 times harder than last year's juvenile sprint division, which Siren Call placed a respective third. Firestone Racing refused to comment on pulling Siren.

The following has been CONFIRMED from Firestone that Refute will continue to run in the undercards and will, in fact, miss the Breeder's Cup Turf. All of his wins this season have been in the undercard races, with a few HOTY tries. When asked about Refute, trainer Carter Leeson had the following to say: "If the undercards is where he is comfortable, then we aren't going to push it. Horses are sensitive creatures just like us, and if he's telling us he doesn't like HOTY competition, then we are more than happy to run him with the smaller fields. This is not to say he will stop running in HOTY races altogether. If the competition is right for him, we will enter without hesitation."
