With everyone prepping for the Invitationals and the Breeders Cup Nature Blues has some good news to say the least. After the winning the Orcinus Derby, their under-card favorite mare Red Admiral heads to Grade Two. The red mare took on such contenders as Passionate God and sprinter favorite Dry Your Tears to win by a head to Passionate God. Red Admiral has certainly had her struggles this season but is in hopes to reach Grade One before retiring in the year sixteen season to start her broodmare career where she will meet Van Guard. "We are very proud of this winning, yes she loves the under-cards and she is a stubborn runner but Addy has proudly made herself known to the judges out there." Nakita Rose spoke on her behalf. Red Admiral is Nature's Blues oldest racing mares and the team is glad they held onto her racing talent
In other news, Radiance filly The Apathy is headed to Grade Three with her recent win in the Magic Night Stakes where she will face a harder field alongside brother Noadiance. The Apathy does have some credibility with only two out of the money placings and with her two Horse of the year wins in the earlier months The Apathy has become quite noticeable. She is set to face the older division and may come to replace sister Reflected In Water when she retires. This filly certainly has the bloodlines going back to not only True Enough but Man O'War himself and Nakita Rose is not afraid to test the limits of The Apathy. "Leasing her out to Grayson Meadows was one of the best decisions we had made, they were able to progress her in ways we didn't understand at the time. Now that we have her back we will face her in a new challenge one that she will be comfortable in and may enter the Breeders Cup next year." Said Nakita Rose on the bay filly. Nature Blues still has a lot of work to do and they will keep on fighting.
