Personality: Hunter is a do it yourself or don't do it at all kind of horse. She takes care of self more than she takes care of anything else. Her mindset relies on if she has to ditch her rider to get this bug off of her, she will. Hunter is a very 'twitchy' horse, meaning that she constantly swishes her tail when being ridden. There isn't a moment that goes by where this filly isn't moving her tail a million miles a minute. Carter thinks she has some sort of paranoia with bugs, and even with fly spray her tail does not stop swishing. Despite her quirks, Hunter loves people. She loves attention, and she loves being groomed. While her tail may give the wrong impression, Hunter loves feeling clean and refreshed when being brushed or washed. You have to make sure Hunter is the first horse you say hello to when you walk in the barn; she sure is an attention hog. When saddled, Hunter thinks it's absolutely hilarious when she walks off while her jockey is trying to mount. A mischievous twinkle in her eye always appears, but Carter has learned that as long as you throw the jockey on lightning fast, she won't try to pull any stunts. But you better make sure your cell phone is turned off when around her, because if Hunter hears that phone ring you will be certain to be on the ground in a second. There may have been an accident that caused her fear of text tones, but Carter quickly learned to keep his phone on silent when around this jumpy filly.
