First NDM Retirement

For the first time, North Diamond Manor is retiring racehorses from the track. Five are moving on to breeding careers, most with foals on the ground in year sixteen. Two will begin the foundation lines for NDM, and the others will expand the bloodlines of their heritages.

AKUMABUELLE
Akuma Battlecry x Deabuelle
With impressive breeding, Akumabuelle was raced lightly in her juvenile and classic seasons, and after coming to NDM had fuller seasons as a senior in her fourth and fifth years. Retiring with fifteen wins, she was an 8-11 furlong dirt preceder who didn't find herself up in the top niche of racing society, but did win several HOTY heats with seven wins in her last season on the track. Her first filly is Y16 born Just Rewards, sired by Intrepid's Comeuppance.

GALLANT KNIGHT
News Flash x Gallant Queen
A bit lost in his juvenile and classic years, NDM bought Gallant Knight as a four year old and put him on the track. Winning thirteen of his fourteen total wins with us, we are proud of his accomplishments as an older dirt router. Many know Flashy Wings, who Gallant Knight is half brother to, and his dam Gallant Queen was recently recovered and has begun producing progeny once more. It will be interesting to see how those foals, and how his foals, come along. In Y16 he sired Gallantry out of Enchantress for Valkyrie, and Valiant out of SOPS Battle Wings for NDM.

LOUD AND CLEAR
Cryin' Out Loud x The True Fallen For
Belle was lovely 6-9 dual runner who won 20 races in her career. She did surprise a bit in some HOTY wins, she had a rounded out way of taking her competition by surprise. She placed third in the Kentucky Oaks and third and fourth in two Breeder's cups. She does not yet have a Y16 foal on the ground, but she will have a Y17 foal named Devilishly Charming for NDM sired by Valkyrie's Alucard when he retires from the track.

LOOKIN' BACK LUCKY

One of the original creates of NDM, Lucky had his ups and downs and is retiring with 13 wins to his name. He had a small two year old season due to NDM just becoming established, and was unfortunately mismanaged by Isabelle for some of his three year old season resulting in many last place finished in heavy HOTY races like breeder's and the Preakness. Isabelle learned a lot from those mistakes and his four year old really shaped up nicely with two HOTY wins and much more balanced racing results. He will be a foundation stud for NDM starting Y16, and Y17 will have a foal on the ground for us.

MALIAH

Perhaps our most well known created original, Maliah pulled off an amazing three year old season with ten wins! She is the winner of the Gold Coast Stakes and The Delaware Handicap. With third place finishes in Breeder's, the Kentucky Oaks, and the Queen's Plate she comes to a racing career close with sixteen total victories. We are excited to see how her new lines will impact the racing tracks. Her first foal is Y16 Mournful Malister sired by Mourning Passion for Valkyrie.
