Unlike most of the Hall Of Famers, Tears Of An Angel shone from age two all the way to the Y16 Dubai World Sprint. She was the star of her 2yo crop, defeating big names like Tears Of Blood, Catching Fire, Sophie's Voice, and Loud and Clear are just a few big names. Tears Of An Angel made it to G2 in her two year old season, a momentum that she carried that all the way to her three year old season where she won six horse of the year races. She defeated HOF Mastermind, HOF Cross My Heart, Sophie's Voice, Loud and Clear, Passion Heart, Aquatic Addiction and many others. Her four year old season was plagued by injury and mismanagement, yet with only a horse of the year win to her name, and three victories so far that season, Tears Of An Angel did something incredible and that was outrun the likes of Silver Serendipity and Innocent Passion for the win. Her five year old season showed how truly talented this mare was. She was a solid leader in the turf sprint division, but also displayed her versatility by winning over the dirt as well. She came back in the Breeders' Cup to repeat her victory in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf Sprint over Silver Serendipity and Taboo. On top of that she finished out her racing career a winner of nearly half her starts (22 of them HOTY race wins). Tears Of An Angel was by no means a average horse and I think she deserves a chance at the Hall Of Fame.
