Personality: Hera is a ball of energy, always on the move. In hand, she is usually on her toes and has a bit of an odd gait somewhere between a walk and a trot. She is usually well behaved however, although she is prone to moving diagonally rather than forwards when excitable.
She is a lovely filly (toward humans) once she has burned off her excess energy and loves to have a peppermint and get a scratch. She is even best friends with the stable's cat. As for other horses, she is domineering and generally does not socialise well.

Hera is at her most enthusiastic at the track, her excitement almost tangible. She will often come across as hot in the paddock and approach to the start and will sometimes be awkward to get into the gates. Once in the gate she tends to settle nicely. Her break is quick and her starting speed more than impressive as she will fight for the front spot. Trying to hold her back is useless, as this girl just will not settle for anything other than the lead.
She knows how to run, and how to run hard. The best tactic with this girl is to get the best lead you can and hold it. She is prone to giving her all throughout the race and rarely has much extra to give in the closing stages although her strong competitive spirit means that she will not easily give in to a challenge.
