May Stable Spotlight on NDM Leases
Barely A Sound - Having settled in nicely at the end of last season at Nature Blues, Whisper pulled off a win in November with jockey Lawrence Kaine. The versatile leg filly has two solid seasons behind her and is moving into her fourth year with some seasoned experience. So far with Nature Blues she has placed in the money twice, and we are looking forward to seeing her on the tracks more in coming months.
Final Conquest - Having gotten back with friends from SOPS, Conrad is pushing into his third racing season. Although he doesn't have a stellar winning history, he really should not be overlooked. A steady and fun runner of both surfaces, Conrad has over 40 races under his belt. Becoming more seasoned, he is finding his footing on the tracks with Wanda Brown, and shouldn't be overlooked.
Impress the Moonlight - As a four year old, Moonlight is finally breaking into the older horse division. In the latter half of her three year old year she was entered into more sophisticated races against tough, older competition. Now she is becoming one of those older pros, with a fantastic three year old year of high class wins. So far with jockey Krystal Yhate at SOPS, she has placed in all but one of her races so far.
Crooked Intentions - Tia has found herself in another rough patch over at Malibu Racing Stables. We saw her dry spell last year when she went eight months without a win. Despite her turnaround late last season with two wins, she seems to be struggling again at the start of this season. We're sure she'll find her stride soon, she is a consistent turf runner out of Crooked Fire and Blanchette.
Sugar Demon - Showing tremendous promise this season, Sugar Demon has snagged three wins, two of them HOTY, as she powers through the spring months of racing. Aaron Everett is doing wonders with the dual sprinter, we are very excited to watch her progress at Grayson Meadows.
Tiger Heart - Tiger boasts a respectable undercard winning juvenile season, with a small smattering of HOTY exposure. He recently pulled off his first win of the season at Battlestone Downs, and we believe he seems to favor the three year old races being offered there this year. He seems content with Amber Black for his jockey as he closes in and grade two status.
Don't Count Me Out - Our sweet Callie is getting her hooves damp in her first racing season, she's broken her maiden and is ready for more intensive training and a fuller race schedule. She's blossoming out, we adore this bay out of Dash for Cash from The Underdog. She may only have a little experience, but she'll hold her own as she settles into her career.
Nutcracker Suite - Having only just started out of the gate, Dancer was given some extra time to mature early this season. She is getting to know her trainer and jockey Lawrence Kaine, proving that greatness can come in small, quiet, elegant packages.
Phoenix Inferno - This hothead out of Firebird and NDM's own Afterglow is putting forth great effort so far this year. He's gotten a great HOTY roster of races under his belt, with a good win in an undercard. The chestnut may not be as flashy as some, but he's got grit, and we're very pleased with his efforts so far.
